My dog gets super nervous when she senses a storm coming. It's so bad we got one of the weighted vests for her. It's supposed to help. Do any of you have this problem or any ways to help calm your dog down?

Yes, my Husky is terrified of storms. I too was thinking about getting one of the weighted vests. I've heard people say they work well but I don't have any experience with them. Other than just trying to comfort her during the storm, I haven't found anything else that works.

I used to just let mine come to bed with me and comfort her with lots of soothing talk and cuddles.

I do that too if we're home when it happens, we try and watch the weather and if we're going to be gone and it's supposed to storm I put the thunder vest on her but sometimes we miss one
