Routine for your dog

Hey guys! We've decided that we want to get a new puppy and I really want to approach the situation in the best way possible! So I'd love to know how you all incorporate routine with regard to your dogs to make sure they are growing up confident, happy and disciplined :)

Congrats! Excited for you and look forward to hearing about your journey with your new puppy! We always set pretty basic routines. When potty training we take them out every hour. We feed twice a day and make sure at that time we sneak in some training. We do a morning walk as well. At night they know it’s kennel time when we start getting ready for bed. Do you know what breed of puppy you are getting?

Hello! Getting a new puppy is always a very exciting new adventure. You can make the puppy a part of your routine and adjust as necessary. Essentially they are becoming a part of your household and that is how you should treat them, as a part of the family. Congratulations on your decision to get a new puppy! Establishing a routine is an important part of raising a confident, happy, and disciplined dog. Personally here are some tips that helped me when I got my second pup. You can start by creating a consistent schedule for feeding, exercise, and training. Make sure to also provide plenty of socialization opportunities for your new pup to interact with other dogs and people. With patience and consistency, you can help your puppy thrive and become a well-behaved member of your family :)
