How have your experiences been with Rottweilers? We are still on the hunt for a puppy and can't decide on the breed! Roti's seem to have such a bad reputation of being vicious but I don't believe that!

Please don't believe that bad reputation! I LOVED my American Rottweiler so much! She was such a gentle giant. We did send her to Good Citizen Puppy School to get her started on the right track and then maintained her training. This dog was so patient and kind with kids and other animals. Make no mistake, she would have attacked to protect her family and she did threaten a sketchy person once but never did we ever have an issue with her acting aggressive inappropriately. I would highly recommend the breed, but it is imperative to have them trained properly.
