Rescuing vs buying from a breeder
I prefer rescuing because sometimes the conditions some breeders is awful. There are so many animals in shelters awaiting adoption. I also think this helps with unintentional pregnancy because most dogs are spayed/neutered

I prefer rescuing from shelters and rescue organizations as well. I would view adopting a dog in deplorable conditions from a breeder like a rescue though. I would be saving them from their bad current living conditions. They'll end up in the shelter anyway (or worse) if they don't get adopted.

I also prefer rescuing. The thought of knowing that there are dogs without a home and aren't being taken cared of enough are out there, it make me feel so heartbroken. That is why I prefer rescuing because I want dogs to feel loved and to have a home where they can be cared for and to be safe.

I agree, there are so many dogs in need of a loving home. It's heartbreaking to think that breeders are pumping out dogs when there are so many in shelters that would love to chance to be part of a caring family. My next pup will definitely be rescued
