I’d love some advice on leash training. My dog is still struggling with this and need all the advice.

Have you tried using the leash inside the home or in an enclosed familiar area? Maybe try inside the home, connecting the leash but not holding it. Then lure the pup with treats to come to you while the leash is attached. If you have another person that can help, you could do the same thing with one person holding the leash and the other luring. The key is making if familiar to them. Once they are familiar and comfortable, it will be easier to work on the rest.

The biggest thing would be to get your dog familiar with being on the lead. I would suggest taking your dog for a quick stroll every day, you will see significant changes in the first week.
