Dry Skin Remedies
Has anyone discovered any solutions for dry skin? One of my dogs suffers with it on and off and she's having a flare up again currently. It makes her itchy and uncomfortable. I feed her sardines and bath her every month or so in a gentle natural shampoo, is there anything else I can do to help her?

I’d see if you can test her for allergies. My friends dog had an allergy to eggs and it would cause skin reactions, mostly dry skin

It could be allergies but it could be as simple as the food. Providing the right food can prevent and cure many skin issues. Generally there are other symptoms when it is related to a food allergy. Until you find the cause of the dry skin, coconut oil is great for conditioning and healing dry skin and other skin conditions.

Thanks guys. I will keep a food diary and see if I can figure it out. Will try coconut oil in the meantime
